These weekly sessions are tailored to develop subject-specific skills to prepare pupils for the 11+ grammar and selective school entrance exams.

The two-hour slots consist of English and Maths teaching/practice periods followed by short bursts of reasoning (verbal and non-verbal) and exam preparation activities that have been designed by The Egg professionals to build strong core academic skills, problem solving & critical thinking strategies, resilience, time management and confidence.

The Egg specialises in designing learning experiences that develop curiosity and build self-esteem so that pupils continue engaging with the focus material outside of the sessions and are driven to succeed by self-motivation, ambition and self-discipline.
